    As a frequent customer at Carrefour , I am absolutely appalled by this never ending discrepancy.I thought this time I should raise it formally.I visited the Shj cc store and had bought few appliances Refrigirator, washing Machine and cooker.Before making the purchase I had asked them clearly that I will only make a purchase if the delivery can be done on saturday or any weekday after 7.Upon this I was told its not possible so I had told them that is fine in this case I want all the items on same day in the evening.I especially took an off from work to receive these deliveries.I got the refrigerator and washing machine on the day promised and decided however thr time slot was in the morning so I had to ask someone to take it on my behalf.Post afternoon I was at home waitin for cooker to come. And chasing on call center.They did not deliver it on the said day.To this I ha dto raise a complain with call center and asked them to deliver it next day after 7 or weekend as i cant stay back home from work everyday.After a while some guy from store called me and told me I told you we can deliver After 7.Firstly he had no sense of talking to the customer, Secondly he was rude amd lastly he was so disrespectful.I asked him do u remember what did I tell you,upon this he mentioned what can he do if its not done.Secondly he straight away denied to help even if carrefour was at fault.Surprise was the other retailers were able to deliver the applianced and carrefour couldnt deliver its on product.Because he was tude enough I told him to cancel all my purchse.He said come to the store and cancel.I told him y shoul I suffer , he rudely said I cant do anything. I would accept it or could have arranged woth some friend.But because of this guy being so rude I not accept it.I did not made purchase to feel disrespected.I need a formal apology from this guy and want my cooker to be delivered in evening post 7.Else please cancel all my purchase and take the items from my place.I have been chasing since lst evening and have no solution yet.I thought such a big chain must be professional but I realise and experienced how rubbishly they treat customsrs.

    Hi Good Day!

    I just want to complaint my colleague in my room for his everyday routine, he was just disturbing not only to me specially with all my co room mates for bringing him the outsider Pakistani inside the room Alkhailgate Building 11 2nd floor . I understand that he is gay but he is not using it in a proper way. His name is Alvin and he is working in Marina Carrefour and currently assigned in marina , Its really disgusting to me and for my colleagues for having this kind of very showy gay. Besides he is putting make up and eye lashes to his eye and rounding around the building which is a very big disturbance to us.. I was so a shame to this gay because he is very unprofessional, keep bringing the guy Pakistani inside the accommodation.. Why don’t you observe and check the room every off day.. I hate this gay and please do some action for him to remove in our room or better yet to move his location.. This gay is a very disgrace in our company he dont even respect what is the environment of his work, And i heard he was going to some arabic guy to other room just to have some fun with them…And aside from that he was trying to seduce arabic customer on his location and this will be his additional extra income..

    Dear sir / madam
    After trailing through google for 15 mins I still could not find an email address to write to you .
    I wanted to ask the reason why Carrefour have soooooooo many staff in the Toiletries and Electrical department. They stand there chatting to each other blocking your path then pounce on you like vultures .It is so intimidating that I avoid these areas all together now and purchase my goods in other stores that do not have this unnecessary approach .

    I really do not see or understand the need for sooooo many staff ! . Carrefour could lower their prices if they fired at least 70% of this unnecessary work force .

    Think about it ,it is not rocket science ,you know it makes sense .I am just stating the obvious

    I would like to raise in your office regarding your employee name Mohammed Rezk here in Carrefour Kuwait.He has very bad behaviour. And he pushed me to raise my complaint to ur office.We all know that everyone’s need to finish their transaction fast and comeback to their own duty as I am only in my break.I fall in line in express as I have few items while I waiting my turn there was 2 guys 1 Filipino and one Egyptian came and want to pay in the first cashier and he said “no there is line” for Filipino and he left and find his que while his same nationality Egyptian he let him to pay but its already my turned. I asked him to scan my items first before him and still he continue to finished the transaction instead of mine.I said to him I will complaint you then he said okay go and complaint me.Instead of asking apology he treaed and encourage me to do my part to complaint.
    This is such annoying cashier this suppose not to behave on the cashiering.I am regularly buying my needs in your store even there is occurring problem in line of payment such as no barcodes,wrong prices and mis leading prices we don’t complaint as sometimes it happens due to the busiest day.,but this guy engaging customers to do actions due to his bad services.

      There is a whole host of issues with your store(s) in Kuwait that affects the reputation of the Carrefour brand and all these issues need to be addressed immediately by bringing in proper management. The above comment touches base on just a few issues, but I can concur that baggers are one of the issues with unacceptable behavior that would never be tolerated in Dubai. Carrefour is a preferred shopping destination in Dubai and is very well managed offering customers quality goods with fair pricing and a pleasant shopping experience. All these are issues at your Kuwait branch. You now have expanded your store to the 360 Mall where the management has blocked the entrance to the store at the bottom of the escalators. You are basically saying to your customer that you don’t want them to enter your store, it is a simple fix to open the entrance to the store. What I can infer is that you assumed Geant employees and just changed their shirts, because Geant blocked this entrance and this led to their failure, amongst other issues, that you are continuing to not address in your Kuwait stores. Address the following:
      1. Quality of goods, pricing and bar code accuracy, increasing foreign imports.
      2. Install a points system card like Dubai, build your app and work on marketing.
      3. Address the baggers who are loudly fighting in Bangladeshi language in front of customers, behaving abruptly with customers and that they are at their station of duty on the floor.
      4. Address your management staff at your Kuwait locations, bring in some competent management staff from Dubai to address key issues.
      5. Address the music being played or not being played, religious chanting music should not be played all day, this makes customers uneasy and will have them quickly exiting the store.
      6. Develop the bakery. This is a successful aspect of your Dubai locations and could easily be successful in your Kuwait locations.
      7. Develop the clothing section creating a ‘souk’ vibe like your Emirates Mall location which is very successful.
      8. UNBLOCK the entrance to the 360 Mall store. You can minimize the restaurant there which is blocking the entrance or take out two unnecessary check-out stations to form an entrance leaving the carts in their present location.
      9. Develop the 360 Mall location with more foreign imports accentuating your French lines which are very popular in Dubai. The demographics of this location is in a local Kuwaiti area and needs to function differently than a local cooperative. Develop the bakery, deli area, produce section shifting a lot of the clothes over to the Avenues location where you have a low labor crowd.
      10. Finally, create a happy marketplace like in Dubai. Have a Turkish ice cream man, have mango festivals, develop the bakery, redesign the produce area. Kuwait is a stagnate, miserable place and by creating a happy marketplace will thrust Carrefour to the number one go-to grocery location in Kuwait. You command two very good locations but you desperately need better management to accomplish this in Kuwait, management that are accessible to customers and your staff when issues arise. It really doesn’t take much to excite this market, but it will take some improvements to bring Carrefour up to the standards that customers should experience in a Carrefour location.

    Me & my family were doing our normal shopping in you Burjuman branch. I noticed that all your 28 cashiers booth are open but there are only 2 baggers present during that time. So the poor customers are forced to do the bagging of their goods by themselves resulting to long line of queue. I approach the manager to add more baggers to improve your customer service. He’s just standing there without recognising the problem and make prompt action to the problem. I hope this will not happen in the next after this. Thank you.

    Dear Carrefour Customer Care / Complaints.

    This is to report a blatant display of unprofessionalism and lack of customer communication on as proven by Mr Sayed Akhlaq Mohiuddin,(Employee # HD0095) cash supervisor and acting store supervisor Choueri store Jumeira Lake Towers on the 28October 2017.

    1st occasion: I gave my My Club card to cashier zuleyka to print my voucher as i had a 25AED voucher that could not be printed at the store at the time of issue, she gladly obliged and handed the card to her supervisor and as she advised me to complete my shopping and once I’m done it will be ready at time of purchase. Once I completed my shopping i came to pay and the voucher and card was ready at the cashier as she said, however it was the incorrect voucher not matching my card, and for 50 AED, she then called the supervisor , Mr Sayed who then told me to bring the correct card as I’ve given the wrong card for the voucher, after numerous attempts at explaining to him by myself and the cashier he blamed her and myself for this incorrect voucher demanding i bring the correct card as i gave the wrong voucher, eventually after probably 15 min of continuous blaming myself and the cashier he printed the correct voucher.(in addition to scolding the cashier in front of myself, my son and other clients)
    2nd Occasion: this evening of the 28th October 2017 I went back to the store to exchange a bag of rice I purchased to exchange for the correct product I needed, I was not given the slip by the cashier at the time of purchase and was directed to once again Mr Sayed as the supervisor, by whom I was initially pushed away abruptly by his hand gestures and was told to speak to another employee to whom I explained the situation, he explained to me the policy and procedure which i fully understood by having the till slip which i explained i was not given, he referred the situation to Mr Sayed who refused to even give me a hearing instead just ignored me and then called the security guard at the store to make the decision who then refused. FYI the rice cost was 15AED which I believe he could have made a decision or be more customer friendly.

    The 2 situations I’ve experienced with Mr Sayed shows he is incapable of completing his job professionally and lacks any form of communication with staff or client.

    As an American who does business in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic frequently I love the store and am always impressed with service.

    I do have a problem with the hours worked by numerous employees. I spoke to many employees and was shocked to learn that some work 12 hours a day 6 days a week.
    Is this normal and/or necessary or is Carrefour taking advantage of the Dominican People. Dominicans work very hard for very little money and I was shocked and saddened to hear this from numerous employees.
    I am curious to know if Carrefour is taking care of its employees or taking advantage of them.

    I purchased a Touchscreen 11.6 Windows Yoga Notebook on December 16th as a Christmas present for my daughter. The device would not power up. I charged the device sor several hours with not success.
    I have tried to contact Carrefour Customer Service since December 23rd with no success – the phone number does not work, the ‘Customer Service’ web page does not work – it requires an 971 prefix phone number within the form. Customers outside the region can not submit their complaint – VERY FRUSTRATING & NOT A GOOD SERVICE.
