The car is now in Holland where I will be for some more months. The nearest Volkswagen Dealer’s name is Van den Udenhout B.V. Wekkerstraat 53,
5652 AN Eindhoven, The Netherlands. I visited them and asked them; and they said they do not know anything about. I need your advice as to how I should proceed.
    Thank you.

    Dear Volkswagen company,

IF YOU DON’T KNOW HOW TO CONTROL YOUR AUTHORIZED AGENT AND MANAGE CUSTOMER SUPPORT/SATISFACTION PLEASE STOP SELLING AND CLOSE IN EGYPT

My car has been entered to volkswagen Egypt –Obour branch since 23rd of Sep (+30 Days )with NO FOLLOW UP till today !!!

It is really very disappointing and unexpected behavior from a multinational company such as volkswagen which impacted me negative in addition to a huge cost of 10,000 EGP transportation with the average of 300EGP/DAY !!

It is a repetitive error in the car Gear Box that was already changed before which means that it is a manufacturing defect in the car which is not my problem to pay for it that should not be happened with brand like volkswagen

    Car details as follows :

    Car Model–>Jetta 2010
    Reason–> gear box
    Entry date–> 23rd of Sep 2018

I need your urgent feedback before taking the LEGAL Action in addition to using the Power of Social Media

    Thanks,
    Yussra Elsheikh

My VW Golf 7 1.4 TSI 90KW/C Line DSG, 2014, bought new, is giving me endless problems. (Durban, RSA). It started with the oil light coming on, nearly a year ago, and I am now having to buy a pint at least every three weeks. Apparently it’s a manufacturing fault. Piston rings, or something like that. The car has around 72 000 kms on the clock. I am a divorced woman, 60 years old. I look after my 18 year old grandson, who is not employed. The last couple of weeks, the EPC light comes on, with the engine light just below it. It is nearly impossible to drive in this state. I was informed by VW SA, to get a diagnostic test done by a dealer. They refuse to pay or help me. My service plan is always up to date, the last service due in December/January. I don’t have a “couple of thousand rands” to pay for the diagnostic test!!!!! I am disgusted with VW, and will be emailing them in Germany. I will NEVER recommend VW again!!! Absolutely shoddy customer care!!!!! These cars were recalled!!!! Mine packs up just after the warranty expired!!!!! What am I supposed to do!!!!!

    Dear,
I’m a big fan of VW and German brand. All my cars are from VW. Only with my last car “GOLF 7” wich i got in 2013, I’m starting having serious problems every year. After one and half year, the car stopped working when i was travelling with my family. Contacting your partner in Tunisia i understood that they are aware of a manifacturing defect in the motor in one lot supplied to Tunisia, but they did not inform any client. They change the motor for free but i was obliged to stay without car for several weeks which created a lot of trouble for me and for my family. After that i also got another issue with a filtration of the water to the car luggage rack after each rain. Checking in the internet, i found out that this is a famous issue with the GOLF 7 anyware in the world. I was obliged to pay for the reparation even it should be a fabrication defect. Last and i hope this will be the least, in the last few months I’m starting getting every 1 or 2 weeks a worning message that i have to check the cooling liquid. When i contacted your partner “Ennakl” i understood that they are again familiar with a manifacturing problem in the “Variator” or “Dimmer”. They accept to change it for free under the waranty. But i was surprised when they call me to pay 2400 TND for additional reparation of the water pump and other accessories which normally was defected because of the “Dimmer”. I’m really surprised with sush quality of service from a big brand and company like VW. I hope my message will reach you and that i can get your feedback as soon as possible.
    Thank you in advance
    Best Regards
    Fathi Chouchene

Looking for “honest” answers about the emissions fix, in particular loss of torque! I’m asking here (Germany) hoping to get to the bottom of this issue. Just lies here… no specifics!

    Hi,im from algeria
I just baught a golf 7 R line from SOVAC Algeria it cost me around 25000 EUR ,and 24 hrs later i found
A problem with my gearbox, dificulty to move the gear selector on Drive position.
The company it self doesnt care at all because they said it was the end of the year and i had to comback in a week.
All my colleagues were shoched when they heard tha a brand new costy VW can have gearbox problems just 24 days after its been delivred.
Normaly they should give me an auther car.
Waiting for the management team to do something about this, cause its realy inappropriate for such a big brand .
    Thank you.

      Salam Khouya Amine,
I am in the united kingdom and cam assure that the service here is worse and worse like everywhere in the world as you can see in this page … Shame on the vw make … I have the same problem with a vw T5 2.5tdi automatic transmission and the dealers are unqualified to diagnose the issue… I am an Aircraft Maintenance engineer (Air Algerie)…, I fix all my car’s issues my self…
I will sell my vw T5 breaking it in parts … and will never buy vw cars any more and will advice all the student in the university and friends and through forums to avoid this make “vw”, their useless customer care and “Stealer” dealers …

    Dear you.
I´m Larus Blonda and live in Reykjavik Iceland. I’ve been having eGolf comford 2015 for over three years and have been very happy with the car and have never been in trouble. Now a few days ago, I couldn’t open the Charging socket flap. It was about minus 5 ° C. The cold has often been greater than this before. I got help at a authorized auto-repair garage for VW in Iceland and they did, among other things put silicone in the area. Now I am faced with this problem and cannot open the Charging socket flap despite rising temperatures – 0.0 ° C, and can´t therefore use the car, which is of course very bad and unacceptable. This is also not good for thereputationfor a very good car.

    With regards

    Larus Blondal.

TURKEY ISTANBUL until 2019 from 2011. 34 TJ Plate 2548 Jetta brand VIN = WVWZZZ1KZBMOO5345 I use my car. In 2013, we experienced the problem of transmission gripping at 47,500 km. However, while my vehicle was 127.500 km in 2019, the same error has been experienced in the last 5 months. When I went to Doğuş Otomotiv due to AVEK automotive fault, they reported that they would cover the 30% of the malfunction. Since 2011, I have all the maintenance and malfunctions of my vehicle in your authorized service. I was told it cost me about £ 5000. These costs will sell at a loss I can not pay my very favorite tool for conditions in Turkey. I don’t get customer satisfaction because I don’t plan on getting VW again. On these models, the transmission clutch problem is due to a factory fault. This error should not be reflected on your customers. I work as an HR Manager in the company that produces parts for VW and Audi Groups at Rözmaş Steel Plant. In this sense, I will also inform the relevant authorities of this complaint over and over again.
    Thank you for your support
    Yours truly

I have taken VW Polo GT one year back at Ramani cars Coimbatore. About 6 months back, my car met with an accident and given for service. After the service, when i tool the car, the painted body color didnt match with the earlier body parts and observed with lots of Orange feel effect. After reporting the same, they have done repainting but orange feel effect not resolved properly. Then the radiator had heavy noise. After we report they have changed the fan. Currently my car is in service with ramani cars for accidental repair. The raidator fan again makes noise. When I told this to your service inchaarge Dhilip, he shouts at me and use uncomplimentary language at high pitch. This creates a question. whether do you right people at service at Coimbatore? is the people are properly trained. Your service persons not able to identify the defect by themselves. Even after we identify and tell them they are not accepting the same.
Let me know hte action you are going to take. I am planning to gather the prominent news agency infront of your showroom while I am taking car for delivery to show case the poor service done by your team here. You can reach me out at my mobile +91 97906 97310

Bought a brand new Polo & there was a defect on the paint work which I reported,VWSA sent a representative to inspect the vehicle. His report stated that the vehicle was resprayed which means I bought a brand new Polo that was resprayed. LindsaySaker Boksburg refuses to replace the vehicle & their solution is to respray the vehicle or I can trade in the car which will be at my loss. Unacceptable business practice from VW.Would never buy a VW again.

With deep regret and disappointment VW dealer in Oman when it comes to service they are careless, dishonest and unprofessional , my experience with them is so frustrating that they performed AC service without me asking for it and without my consent , among other things, they damaged the AC compressor, the condenser and all pipes were clogged with oil, the AC failed to cool completely, and none want to accept responsibility, after my car spent eight weeks in their garage uncared for, I took my car to an outside garage which cost me US $ 800 to replace the parts, since then I have decided to warn anyone I meet from buying VW , because of the attitude they present, after you buy the car it’s you who needs them and they don’t need you. Selfish, arrogance, lies and disrespect , very upsetting.

  • Chieng Pong See August 5, 2019, 1:13 pm

    Dear Sir,
It is of great regret that I need to write to you for clarification. I bought my car in year 2013 and since my car have been following the maintenance schedule religiously and maintained by VW appointed workshop in my country i.e. Malaysia. My car mileage is currently 130,000KM. However, just before my last service, the warning for engine oil topping sign keep coming up and I can said maybe every 1,000KM. Of cause previously I also top up the engine oil, but that only when near the next maintenance service. In so I send my car in for check and rectify and to my horror, the report from the service centre advise me to have my car engine overhaul and the estimated cost for parts is around RM 12,000 without adding labour cost. I would considered myself as gentle driver as I have not traveled more than 160 km/hour and I am nearing to my retirement and also heard a lot of complain about the gear box so I have been very careful as I do not want a massive repair bills. And my guts feeling is the service interval of 15,000KM is too long. In so far I have wrote in to VW Malaysia seeking and explanation but up to date nothing happened. To be honest, VW brand in Malaysia is taking a beating and the people feel VW have not been professional in performing their duties diligently. I personally feel been short changed as do not think there is any short fall on my side. I sincerely hope VW would give me a reasonably good explanation. Thank you for your attention

The vw dealer in sault ste marie Canada are a bunch of conmen.
I brought my jetta to them to check the engine light 3 times, paying everytime. The told me the glow plug was siezed on cylinder 3 but that was a lie. It was stripped. Fixed it after the glow plug blew out on me. Drilled it, tapped it, and installed a helicoil no thanks to them. They were also suppose to change the recalled parts but never did. They said to return the car where i got it and the other dealer should of changed the recalled parts. I feel like thats against the law why eles do we get letters saying the parts are recalled and to bring it to the dealer where theyll change it with no charge. That was not the case. I think the main vw head quarters should look into them. There giving vw a bad name.
