    Dear Mr. Mortensen,
I just watched Captain Fantastic and my eyes are still moist. The values that you stood for, the honesty towards your kids, the steadfast guidance about corporate rule, the misguidance in the media and the adherence to basic human values was so touching that I could not help but emote.
My kids were raised with similar values. They are all bilingual and understand the true motivation behind the human condition.
In Antofagasta Chile, after buying some carvings and getting a good deal, my young son explained that the shop owner had to support his family from his meager sales. I went back into the shop and said I was sorry, in my halting Spanish. He teared up and hugged me when I gave him much more money. I understood, from my young son, the true value of understanding just then. It wasn’t the money it was the kindness in acknowledging the effort that he was making.
